I would like to vote Sarah Palin off the island. The main reasons for choosing Sarah Palin is because I personally think she is not fit to be a politician. Yes she has all the education it takes to be one, but she doesn't have a politician's mentality. Also she has shown poor business management and fiscal skills. As Governor she provided little guidance and direction to the legislation on budgets. Sarah Palin also displays poor people skills and leadership. She tends to ignore others viewpoints and only is concerned with her way of thinking and ideas. In the 2006 general election campaign for Governor of Alaska, she skipped 6 important debates. As she ran for a more important position as Vice President of The United States, her lack of politician skills became more evident.
Being that Sarah Palin Is being voted off the island and out from the public eye, and never to be seen again, will cause tabloids to have to victimise someone else in the 2012 election. This will eliminate her from running for president and making a complete fool of herself. This will also allow her to explore other career fields and use that brain of hers that she has failed to show. Such as a grocery store manager, a pre school teacher, or enter a beauty pageant contest and become Ms. Alaska. With Sarah Palin gone, will allow the 2012 campaign to be taken much more seriously.
My personal choice to vote Sarah Palin off the island, was that I'm against her lack of seriousness in the political world. There are so many issues in our economy that we do not need another airhead in office. Sarah Palin displays everything a politician shouldn't do and be. She has shown poor leadership, management skills, and lack of integrity, which shows she is unfit to be in office as any position. She has been involved in scandals, lies, controversies, failures, and more.

Choosing a Topic
- Abortion: I'm interested in this topic because it's a controversy that cant just be summed up in a 30 minute discussion or a 500 word essay. Also because it's a very broad topic that has many different view points. It's a topic about life or death, right or wrong.
- Driving Age: I'm interested in this topic because it effected me personally. I was one month away from getting my drivers license when all of a sudden they added three more months to how long you must maintain a learners permit. Also because I do understand where people who say teens on the road are much more of a risk are coming from.
- Gambling: I'm interested in this topic because I like gambling myself, I like the risk factor. For gambling to be illegal in some cases and legal in others is very concerning to me. But I also see how in many cases gambling has lead to deaths.
- The Death Penalty: I'm interested in this topic, because like abortion it's very broad. It's about the system taking matters into their own hands. It's many ways you can look at the topic.

There're Some Things Money Can't Buy
In the movie "Runaway Jury" taken place in New Orleans, there're a lot illegal activities going on outside of the court room. You have attorney Wendell Rohr and Lawrence Green apart of the legal team that has filed a law suit for Celeste Wood, whose husband has died from a homicide case in which a semi automatic handgun was used. The law suit is being filed against the gun company that has been selling semi automatics at a rapid pace. The gun company has never lost a court case The case is not just the prosecutiting side and the defense side. You also have a jury pool with Nicohlas Easter, who is in a risky search to make a lot of money with the help of his significant other Marlee. In which they are trying to bride either side that they can persuade the jury pool one way or the other in the case.
I think the overall outcome of trial will be that the jury consultant Rankin Fitch will take Nicohlas and Marlee's offer and pay them to persuade the jury pool their way. Only to find out that the they didnt have total control of jury pool. The reason I think this will happen is because Rankin Fitch is more of an impatient type and he seems like the type that looks for the easy way out of things. Also most rich people think that there is a price tag on just about everything and that they can buy their way through and out of situations. The prosecuting side seems like they already have their minds made up on not taking that offer and decides to shred and burn the offer. Wendell Rohr seems like the type thats all about doing things the lawful way. I also think the jury pool ends up finding the defense side guilty. In which Nicohlas and Marlee then tries to move out the country with the large sum of money they encountered from Rankin Fitch. And Rankin Fitch becomes highly angered about what just happened.
