The Pride of 2 Lions

My topic is the comparison of Simba from the "Lion King" and myself. I chose this topic of comparison because I've been compared to Simba many times throughout my life. The purpose is to show that I have somewhat the pride of a lion, because we have similar personalities, we tend to learn the hard way, and we both take after our fathers.
Learning the hard way is something Simba and I share in common. When Simba chose to go against his father's word and went to the elephant graveyard, he was attacked by a pack of hyenas and was chased around the graveyard until he was cornered and then luckily saved by his father Mufasa. I also chose to learn the hard way many times, when I was told multiple times to be in the house when the street lights came on. One night I decided to stay out even though the street lights were on and was later taken home by neighborhood security for being outside past curfew. Simba also went against his own word to his daughter Kiara and the suggestion of his wife, that his daughter could go hunting alone. His daughter ends up running away from the pride lands once she found out that Timon and Pumba was sent to spy on her by Simba. His daughter Kiara ends up falling for a trap where she was surrounded by fire set up by Scar's side of the family. This time Simba was the one doing the saving.

"I'm a Product of My Environment"

The statement "I'm a Product of My Enviroment" is a powerful statement of belief and support that encapulates my life and my aspirations for my life. Landover, Md where I grew up really played a huge part in raising me, because I grew up without my mother.

Growing up in Landover, Md without my mother left me with many questions as a child, but my grandmother, father, and neighborhood really supported me through the rough times. I wouldn't give all the credit for my succes and failures to the environment I was raised in, but it did play a huge part. Growing up in the type of environment I was raised in allowed me to be a kid and not to worry. While playing around outside and staying active I was trouble free with no worries. I also lived in a neighborhood where many of my relatives lived, and together gave me that mother figure that I needed as a child. Even though I still searched for answers as I continued to grow up, the neighborhood kept me from that fine line of being depressed as a child. It was more like a stimulus being at home in my neighborhood. The environment wasn't always easy growing up in. There aren't many of people that can say they made it coming from Landover, which can be looked at as a positive or a negative. In my case I took it as a positive to become something which is why this saying is an aspiration for my life.

Therefore the saying "I'm a Product od My Environment" is a powerful statement of belief and support, that encapulates my life and my life aspiration, because the environment in which I grew up in , gave me that stimulus that allowed me to be a kid and the motivaztion to want to become succesful in life.
